How to Watch South Africa vs. Senegal: World Cup Qualifying Live Stream, Game Time
How to watch the vital World Cup qualifying match between South Africa and Senegal on November 10.
Senegal can punch its World Cup ticket on a rare occasion a South Africa on Friday.
Thanks to a FIFA ruling that forced South Africa and Senegal to replay their World Cup qualifier from a year ago over a match-fixing referee, the two sides meet again in South Africa for the first of two clashes in four days. South Africa had won the vacated game 2-1 thanks to a dubious penalty call that was at the center of the controversy.
Senegal leads the group, sitting two points clear of Burkina Faso and Cape Verde Islands, and a win would cement its place in the World Cup. A draw would open the door for the other two, while a loss would keep South Africa alive in its quest to reach a World Cup for the first time since hosting it in 2010 and the fourth time in its history.
Senegal has only qualified for the World Cup once before, making a sensational run to the quarterfinals in 2002, which included a famous win over defending champion France.
