Our newest Carrotmob switcher is the Macquarie Grocer on the corner of Darcy St in South Hobart. What a fantastic bunch of hard working young Tasmanians to support. In recent times, they have begun to provide more sustainable packaging and through Carrotmob Hobart they have switched away from even more plastic items, to compostable options. They are more than happy for people to BYO packaging. Please reward them by tasting their yummy takeaway food and coffee and don't forget to mention Carrotmob, so they know their effort was *appreciated*.   

Two brothers Nicholas and John, with their partners Dimitra and Ritsa and colleague Julie Whitney are now running the store. They are slowly making changes and are keen to provide what their customers want. Please shop at their store to let them know that you support and appreciate their switch away from plastic packaging and provide them with a reason to go further.  

They have a range of yummy desserts, sandwiches, bread, deli items and hot drinks available for takeaway, plus all their groceries including fruit and vegetable. They are conveniently located opposite a beautiful play park with tennis and basketball courts, swings and soccer oval. Why not take your Keep Cups, bread knife, reusable bags and biscuit container and prepare a picnic to have in the park!
