We will be delivering an outreach session at Clarendon Vale on the full findings of the Get Bill Smart project.

The Get Bill Smart Project was hard at work saving energy and improving comfort in homes around Hobart in 2014-15.  This action research project tried to understand the processes and key determinants for success, barriers, and drivers for different energy efficiency approaches.

The results are in from the project and we have found that our normal “In-home education and upgrades” approach is effective for reducing energy bills and improving thermal comfort.  The energy savings are even greater when combined with community capacity building.

Sustainable Living Tasmania will be delivering an outreach session on the findings of the project.  The outreach session will be held at the Clarendon Vale Neighbourhood Center on Wednesday 29 June from 7-9pm.

If you are interested in the outcomes of the project the full project reports will soon be available for download fromwww.slt.org.au/get_bill_smart.  If you are interested in the policy outcomes of the project please contact Anton Vikstrom to RSVP for a forthcoming policy session in July 2016

We look forward to seeing you there.  If you want more information or to RSVP call 62819364.
