SLT member/supporter survey
We invite you to take our member/supporter survey. We would love to hear what your interests are in sustainable living, your expertise in this area; and your views on where SLT should be headed. Survey closes on 30 July.
Volunteer opportunity: Energised Learning
We're currently developing project-based learning activities that will inspire Tasmanian secondary students by actively engaging them in real-world and personally meaningful projects in their schools, under the mentorship of renewable energy professionals and tradespeople. Identified projects include biodigesters, using hot water systems like batteries to increase solar self-consumption, and taking an aquaponics system off-grid with solar and batteries.
We're looking for people with a background or interest in science education to help us link these projects to the Australian Curriculum, collate learning resources, and draft lesson plans.
Become certified carbon neutral
Our Principal Consultant, Todd, recently became a Registered Consultant with the Australian Government's carbon neutral certification program, Climate Active. He already helped local architects Morrison & Breytenback become certified last year, and is helping others now.
