How do you grow? A school kitchen garden workshop

ReubenParkerGreer.jpg
South Hobart and Princes Street Primary schools are hosting a school kitchen garden networking event. We'll explore various strengths, aspirations and challenges for school kitchen garden programs, while increasing our collective capacity by developing a beneficial network of passionate people.
Anyone interested in kitchen garden programs in Hobart City is welcome (including teachers, principals, gardeners, cooks, canteen managers and volunteers).
The afternoon will be facilitated by Reuben Parker-Greer. Reuben has over 8 years experience in school kitchen gardens. Currently he is working to support 15 school kitchen garden projects as a Project Manager for MONA's 24 Carrot Gardens.
Motivation for the workshop: South Hobart Primary School has received funding through the City of Hobart's Dr Edward Hall Environment program to develop a school kitchen garden program and is looking to develop the best program possible and believe there's a lot to be learnt from the experiences of neighbouring schools.
